2018 Dimitris N. Chorafas Award

The Dimitris N. Chorafas Foundation awards scientific prizes for outstanding work in selected fields in the engineering sciences, medicine and the natural sciences. It rewards research characterized by its high potential for practical application and by the special significance attached to its aftermath. The spintronics research from my PhD dissertation received this prestigious award in 2018.

IEEE Senior Membership

I have been elevated to the Senior Member grade in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) on June 26, 2021. Senior member is the highest grade for which IEEE members can apply for. IEEE Senior Membership is an honor bestowed only to those who have made significant contributions to the profession.
